My personal 'evidence' is the fact that when we were kids we always got snow in Vancouver. Enough that we jumped into ditches while not certain of how deep they were. Then in growing up none lasted on the ground for more than a few hours.
Agree "climate turbulence." On a very simple scale, If you boil water - ignoring the frog - you can see what happens to the water molecules. So if the land, water and atmosphere of the globe is getting warmer, as water working to a boil, molecules under, over and around us are gonna be moving faster.
We might slow down in the heat but nothing else does. Basic, but i think it works good enough.
