i personally know, empirically, that the global temp has increased a bit, and demonstrably linked to the greenhouse effect of increased greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. I got my ass kicked in a late bloomer grad class as I did not "believe" in it and had my own theory. I was shown the error of my ways in the 90's by really competent scientists at Oregon State.

The noise in the concept is in effects. We are seeing some that are getting to be a preponderance of evidence. What concerns me is that it isn't just warming, it is climate turbulence. We are baking our asses off in the present weather, but we are just as likely to get some major moisture events, and thinking of global warming as just turn on the AC is just as likely to result in massive moisture events, and not just hurricanes. Our reservoirs will probably be refilled in a manner that is just as destructive as the fires. Calm weather is not likely to be so common anymore.
