"How difficult would it be to be able to..."

Derf,

Again once again one more time, you gotta learn the how
in how to ask BobZ & Sheriff Matt a suggestive question :o)

No, its not having Susie or gotmilk ask it for you.

Think of that early Rock & Roll song...

Who put the bomp
In the bomp bah bomp bah bomp?
Who put the ram
In the rama lama ding dong?
Who put the bop
In the bop shoo bop shoo bop?
Who put the dip
In the dip da dip da dip?
Who was that man?
I'd like to shake his hand
He made my baby
Fall in love with me (yeah!!)

ok,
Now think what makes Matt & Bob to "Who put the..."
into iHub here....
(Hint) "... made my..."
or,
makes their "what" grow bigger....
answer is...
... revenue from iHub's paying members & ad reads from FREEs
ok,
Now is it true or not that all your posts to Bob are one-way ?
as in,
help me
serve me
better me
work for me
for "free" ???
or,
"How difficult would it be to be able to..."
Ain't how to ask a "business" a question.
"Its the MONEY..."
as,
Bob & Matt want to hear along side an request...
"Whats it worth for me to get this additional feature."
As if enough iHub members wanted to obtain advanced searching,
way above & beyonder the normal excellent iHub will have someday
in the near future as standard, then the only thing standing between
this being made & available is if enough were willing to pay extra
the cost of software, hardware and maintenance to allow iHub
to actually make revenue from it (aka) a value added component.

"Worst" case is iHub having a seperate database that has copies
of all posts that has appended to each posts searchable fields
that are not displayed on a read, but included in Super iSearch
names of From: and To:
date/time stamp
board name

:o) I'am willing to pay extra for this

By Subject OR Member isn't enough? Gimme an example.

I could do a separate search page that makes advanced searches more user-friendly and adds those features if it looks worthwhile.

I've got more time than I thought I would. I'm doing a re-import of SI's data and it's going to take quite a while, so I'm kinda dead in the water on SI work right now and can focus here at least until Monday. I'll be happy to take on a few larger projects here if they look worthwhile.

Feels really good to finally get to do some of the kind of programming again where the time span between suggestion and implementation is measured in hours or minutes rather than constantly *trying* to stay focused on something that takes months.
