12:30 PM EST Marketgems market Commentary: AMKR, QLGC, SMH, MVSN and MXIM..

Markets gapped up and are trading in the upper quarter of the day's range, which is bullish. MXIM, SMH, MVSN and QLGC are heading through higher highs and these are our main plays (MVSN and AMKR yesterday's plays heading higher). Market internals are good since we have broken prior highs thoughout the session. We recommend locking in profits as they come especially before the FOMC report, which is likely to increase volatility substantially. (FOR MXIM we relish that!)
