Lem ..hope U are doing OK . I dont expect it will be Dec 2020 all over again . There's obviously a lot more immunity and many areas have high vaccination rates ...my county ( Marin ..OMG a mortal sin .. I happily live in Ca )... is 90% vaccinated .
Nevertheless if the Delta variant keeps spreading as fast as feared ...it will have an economic impact ( far less than in 2020 IMHO ) and may affect patients willingness to go for cholesterol test pre Vascepa script.
Something to watch . I have a position in Caesars in your home town ...kind of " canary in a coal mine "indicator which guides me on "reopening plays " including partially on AMRN .
Kiwi PS. re low vaccinated states ...from Bloomberg today
In Arkansas, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the nation, with only about 33% of the population fully protected, cases, hospitalizations and deaths are rising.
I’ll tell you what. If in 6 months or so we have yet again covid 19 all over again.. we are screwed to the point that just letting it rip makes sence. The damage has been so much. Forget about it.
Back in the 90's Cal OSHA made a big push to absolutely require PPE and fall protection in construction. Like banning plastic bags, there were all the predictions that it would never ever fly. It did. People adapted.
C19 will stick around and come wintertime when you are jammed in a steamy bus or elevator with a flu sufferer or on the floor at a crowded concert, you'll see masks.
I'm vacc'd, but I carry and wear a mask around people cuz watching people step into the street/doorways to get around me when I don't, gets old.
We're going back to normal, but it'll be a new normal like it always is. and cardiologists will prescribe V.
