Johngnat, “ generic companies don’t mess around”
That’s a fantasy. I know there are many safe and effective generics but generic manufactures have always taken short cuts and dangerous measures to reduce costs. They’ve been hit many times for repeated violations in manufacturing and safety yet continue to operate and supply tainted and substandard medications. The FDA is a joke in this regard. I’ve posted several articles documenting egregious violations and practice’s and the FDA’s lack of ability to effectively monitor or put and end to this.

johngnatt, I agree with duke's response that the generics' are not beyond messing around. As CaptBeer concludes, "Trust but verify." I am not saying that they are messing around, because I do not know. But in my legal experience, corporations are not beyond cutting corners. It would not shock me at all if such evidence transpired.

Regarding, your legal question on induced infringement, if Hikma sells a legal product, complies with the FDA regulations, and there is no reference to the Reduce-It indication, it would seem difficult to prove induced infringement
