Experience is indeed the best teacher, if only because no one likes to be repeatedly warned, even by beloved parents.

The "assessments" you refer to are subject to enormous, and very common, biases. The most prominent in investing is confirmation bias. People tell themselves a narrative and then search for confirmation of it, in conspiracies, other's positive (or negative) posts, etc.

It's helpful to keep in mind the reality: that this is simply a promising risky biotech, and you own shares that finance it. Treat the stock market as your casino, or secret winning lottery tickets, and it eventually ends badly.
