If you share in the funds from this current settlement, then going after other infringers would be to your benefit.
But if Billy gets the shareholders pushed to the side and keeps all the settlement money, why would you care about other infringers since you won't share in that, either.
Seems to me the imminent deal is the focus. If you are recognized, then you partake. If not, you starve.
