I honestly don't think it matters what party you are from if you want to run. If you stand for the small d, democracy then you have a shot.

I think what people don't get is that every constituency has different needs and wants. I think what most federal politicians miss are those goals.

Lumping all of them together into a tribe solves nothing, we are all individuals and the people that vote for them are individuals too.

I love your Lieutenant Governor, but I can't vote for him.

I absolutely adore a ton of politicians that stand for people in states where I don't reside so it becomes a little dicey.

It isn't all about money and hopefully people will eventually figure that out too.

We need to get back to people that stand up for us and not themselves, which is why I'm on a voting kick. I don't care where you're from or who you vote for but by all means, jump every hurdle to get to that ballot box and our small d democracy will shine!

Same for NC. We re-elected a Dem as governor. Otherwise the GOP would certainly try and amend the voting laws.


Last election they also lost their super majority to override a gov veto so we are starting to win again.
