Yes I know that Li is not longer controller of EON, the CCP is. That is why I noted CEO or controlling shareholder, maybe I was not clear.
There is an obvious difference between affiliate and subsidiary. LQMT LF is not a subsidiary of EON or LQMT HK. If you dispute that, please provide the link to the correct information.
What is an "underneath" affiliate? A subsidiary.
LQMT HK is a minority investor, money tree only to that extent.
The arms length "arrangements" are words on a piece of paper. Who will enforce them? Li will choose to pursue EON and the CCP for non- conformance? That is unimaginable. Yet he is the CEO of both parties.
For that matter, Li indicated his intention to transfer the LQMT shares to EON. Subsequent to that early revelation, the CCP became controller of EON. What a surprise. Just how is that supposed to work for us?
One last point: To what extent is the CCP now overseeing Hong Kong registered businesses, and what does that imply for LQMT HK and its
holdings? This is unclear to me, at least.
