The lawsuit and the halt. COR sued CRGP and the trade was halted.

Those are supposed to be independent events. Very rare H3 halt was issued because the trading could "disrupt the operation of the exchange" (?!?!?!). The divy thing was weird but was promptly settled by DTC. What was the disruptive condition? Still waiting for an explanation 6 years after.

Lawsuit -besides it's a playbook move to tank the price of a stock and cover- COR felt CRGP had committed fraud to walk away with the extra money from the dividend -taken from COR- as CRGP had announced a share buyback.

Before disappearing, CRGP management mentioned there was an error from the DTC.

COR lawsuit came super fast, the same week.

DTC mentioned they could only enforce the rules of the exchange but not the conditions of the conversions. Any complaints related to that had to take place in a civil court.

Another weird issue - COR wanted to reverse the dividend. DTC said, if we get the request from CRGP, we'll do it. Request never came.

Lawsuit went from weeks, to months to years. COR tried to recover the money from CRGP, then from shareholders, then from brokers. Another weird thing - they froze the accounts of the noteholders and recovered most of their money from them but lawsuit continued. Lawsuit was finally dismissed and COR went to appeals, and dismissed again.

In short, many things don't add up. Was all that circus to hide naked shorts? I don't know but recommend a CUSIP change to make sure everything's in order.
