From the beginning my only concern was malfeasance but logic was that with Carter holding such a large amount he would be foolish to rip us off an invite lawsuits why not pay us. That is logic dealing with a rational person. As we all know rational is in short supply these days. But yeah that was the idea “he could steal” but why?! Especially when he would get caught
