UOIP doesn't own Chanbond because there wasn't $5 million to consummate the deal just a Carter wanted - so there isn't any pathway for shareholders to be part of the settlement.
The Judge hasn't ruled favorably for NPE or patent trolls in the past.
And the Motion to Dismiss because lack of Jurisdiction isn't moot and hasn't been addressed - these are very complex legal issue that can take months for the Judge to consider.
