Gary, add me to this list of people hoping that you stay in remission until natural causes become unavoidable. Sometimes I share my experience that I gained while working the fields and hills with people like my friend Tom who desperately needs DCVax to become available, and sometimes I shout it from the Mountain. You have moved me to think more deeply about my friend, so here comes the fire.
There are many ways to shine your light upon this world and you have shined your light on me despite our never meeting. Every life has meaning and great potential as does every death. The Creator has a master plan which you are part of as we all are. Both light and dark are powerful forces and are contagious, but there is a fountain that was not made by the hands of man and it is within everyone whether they choose to let it out or try to steal it away from others. You let yours shine.
It is obvious to me that Dr. Liau and Dr. Ashkan know what they are doing and both have a very powerful light. It has shined well beyond those they have touched with healing hands. There are many ways to look at this very specific choice, but it is clear to the eyes of the beholder which choice brings you to add to Dr. Liau’s glorious light and which does the opposite. It is obvious to me which is more powerful, despite how it sometimes appears. You know when you see a powerful light, whether or not you choose to acknowledge it.
When I need a reminder, I look up into the night sky and see that darkness cannot defeat light, or I come to this board where I am acutely reminded of the choice we all have in this world. I have chosen to shine this light upon everyone that learns to trust my light because that is how the light defeats the forces of darkness. There is enough bread and meat to feed everyone and when one passes the basket around, it grows rather than shrinking because we all have a light within us. I have chosen to share this specific light with as many people as I can.
Your cup seems full, and may it be again. My friends cup is nearly empty. He needs this light and he needs it desperately. He is someone who has shined his light on everyone he touches, and if this light goes out too soon there will be blood on the hands of some here. I personally don’t know how one can live with that knowledge.
