$SAVA and $AVXL are both novel approaches, so yes the $SAVA announcement lifted both stocks as biotech investors are on the hunt for new ideas.

I own both, but think SAVA is more hype than substance and is a one trick mode of action.

Anavex on the other hand is a novel upstream cellular approach modulating the S1R and has more potential indications beyond AD/PD/PDD...etc.
