I can’t say why but i believe many companies are getting rid of office space in the many ancillary buildings they may use for office space in, for instance, Manhattan. They may stay in their main building, for now, but those buildings are being reorganized to facilitate employee meetings, hot desks, office “hotel” features, etc.
