I recall this being discussed on this board about a month ago in a very positive light. Some posters were saying the decision by United Healthcare to only cover the cardiovascular indication basically eliminated generics and left only Vascepa covered. Well, about 93 percent of Vascepa prescriptions covered, since high triglycerides would no longer be reimbursed. At the time, most posters were praising the development and saying other insurers should do the same, all but eliminating the market for generics.
