Good question. I remember when EXAS made the decision to hire a “celebrity” spokesperson to promote Cologuard. Oprah, Will Ferrell were names floated. The stock fell 8% when they announced that they chose Harry Connick Jr. lol.

Amarin would for sure screw this up as well, but could you even imagine the pub if Jordan or Brady?

Raf, AMRN did that with the guy from Pawn Stars, I like the guy but I
doubt if he really impacted sales. The problem with having a spokesperson
is that they can die...sometimes from a heart attack or stroke which might
not be the best publicity. I'd much rather simply get Dr. Bhatt on "60
minutes" or other similar programs. Sure hope a BO is in the works,
as JT has proven that he should not be the CEO. GIA is suicide with
JT at the helm.

I like all your choices but I’d go for someone like Toney Braxton, David Letterman, Susan Luci, Barbara Walters or one of the many other stars that have survived a heart related event and are now awakened to, and advocates for, heart disease awareness and prevention. Braxton is my choice because she’s young. Especially if they can use her song ‘ Un Break My Heart’. We definitely need a recognizable face for Vascepa, if truly GIA or we’re not sold already.
