Alas, for the past 10-15 years, they've been much less high profile than once upon a time. They used to have a big--and very entertaining--website, which featured among other things, a list of Important Citizens. And they used to sell passports, too. Unfortunately, the only other nation that recognized them was, I believe, the Central African Republic.
And most of their "territories" are under water most of the time, which is a problem bound to be exacerbated by climate change.
