Boston Chicken/Market was a house of cards. In deep trouble by the mid-90s, around the time I got interested in business/stock scams. BK in 1998. McDonald's picked up many locations. Yes, the brand lives on as a frozen meal provider, even recently. Modern version of the 1950s/60s TV dinner. Often pretty good quality.

I loved eating at Stouffer's...of course...that was in the mid 70's...lol

My mother loved Stouffer's, and used to take me there. But that was in the mid-to-late 50s.

Yes the infamous 666th 5th Ave that Jared over paid for. My dad managed a joint around the corner.

There was also Horn & Hardarts in the city at the same time.

I do miss the HoJos when we traveled to visit my grandmother in MA. My dad would always stop for lunch in CT at the orange roof.
