I admire AAPL for navigating the political minefield well so far. But then, if Taiwan conflict comes to pass, all bets are off including AAPL and TSLA. Food business like YUM's have no national security implications and is more of a side show compare to tech developers. IYO, does the market include a discount for China risks in AAPL for example?

BNTX—This sounds like another case of harassment by China:

The BioNTech [COVID-19] vaccine has shown greater take-up [in Hong Kong] since its launch. Over the past week, more than double the number of people have booked the BioNTech shot compared to Sinovac, according to government figures.

…the government had initially contacted Fosun Industrial (Hong Kong), the distributor, after it found some cases of cracks in vaccine containers and stains on some bottles.

…Fosun replied on Wednesday morning stating that it needed to further investigate and would suspend vaccination until further notice.

…Fosun's parent company, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical, said in a filing on Wednesday it was investigating with BioNTech.

Doesn’t pass the sniff test, IMO.
