I've been working for the DOD on their aircraft for over 20yrs... I know that this tech is going to be great just for our soldiers aircraft in helping find corrosion in hard to get to areas that get missed a lot. I have done repairs and when I get to taking frames or stringers apart, they are so corroded that all the parts just turn to powder when I remove some of them, hence making it a bigger job that no one would have seen and can cause a delivery delay because of the new discovery. Never know what can of worms we open up sometimes, but with this, should make life easier for inspectors and to find out fatigue areas quickly. What else they have in mind for it, well it is going to cool to find out if pick up another government contract and find out the DPLS is the technology I am modifying an aircraft with.
