was a wonderful, wonderful interview. Tied for first in my book for all that I've seen. Content was complete and accurate (and almost took newbies all the way back to Settis' first birthday party). The emphasis that was placed on international expansion I thought was huge as it seemed as though he was implying (if not outright saying), we will be abroad before be have entered or come close to saturating the whole US market (50 states). IMO IF YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY and timely delivery capabilities and finances (wink) then by all means hit the heaviest concentration of smokers on the planet (with better margins?) for all you're worth. Debbie Chang will help lead the charge.
I thought (as I always do watching one of these deals) the most amusing visual that occurs many times is when Setti flashes his little cheshire cat, kid in a candy store, just got away with stealing out of the cookie jar..smirk, grin, smile (take your pick).
I always seem to associate the timing of that facial response to when he is answering a question or expounding on a thought that only he alone knows 'how astronomically successful this venture will be'. WE THINK it's a home run..HE KNOWS it's an asteroid the size of OHIO...lol hitting BT right in the groin. If we only sell a carton per year per location, he says, (grin) or garner 1 out of 400 smokers (grin) then we make 500 million a year(smirk). The other fuel giving way to his smile is the intense pride he obviously feels when he speaks of the progress that TAAT has made developing and bringing their product on line in just 6 months (smile). It's a kick in the balls to PM and the BT industry as he puffs up his chest pitting his expertise with the best out there and silently saying 'I have you right where I want you and KNEW that I would be able to.
PM paid him and gave him license to go out there and find 'something other than a traditional cigarette that the market would accept, warm up to and eventually go wild over....AND HE HAS!! can't believe there was never a clause in his contract restricting him from developing any related product for at least a couple of years.
I'm sure you are getting sick of all this so I will stop after giving you my ten dollars worth of thoughts and leaving all I have on the playing field.
Only other thing I must say is that I have read that maybe a few other TAAT testers out there have experienced the "clogging' situation that has been experienced here...they need to jump on that and fix it in a heartbeat. Don't need any flies in the ointment as we are just beginning to roll.
would say best of luck, but luck has very little to do with where this is going....so I would just say 'Your retirement appears to be secure TAATERS'.
stay safe... stay well.
