You and I must have bought around the same time. And once it took off, the squeeze was a lotta fun. I sold at the right time, at about 68, but stupidly bought some of it back. Just as many of the GME people are doing. But overall, I made a nice profit.
I owned a Zip drive, and never had any problems with it. What happened to the company was simple: it turned out its products were transitional. It was a great answer to the problem of hard drives with limited space, and certainly to those annoying floppies, but pretty quickly, much more spacious hard drives became cheaply available, eliminating the need for a Zip. Sad, but that's how it goes...
As for the Big Storm, I thought it'd be a bust around this time last night. It snowed all last afternoon and evening, though not especially hard. We had maybe three or four inches. And then around now, it stopped. The weather people said it'd start again at midnight, but it didn't. Not a flake I could detect till midafternoon today. Since then, it's been fairly heavy.
I'd say we probably have six to eight inches. And it's supposed to keep on snowing till tomorrow afternoon, though after midnight it should become lighter. One site is saying we'll have a total of eight to twelve, but I have the impression they don't really have a clear idea...
