The CC was so bad I briefly fell asleep halfway through. When I awoke, the CEO was answering a question about how CVX will deal with the possible loss of fracking leases in New Mexico federal land. He said, "If conditions become too onerous in the US, we'll take our dollars elsewhere."

The dividend increase CVX was referring to was the one declared one year ago (Jan 2020). The dividend hasn’t been increased since then.

As I’ve opined on various occasions, CVS ought to cut the dividend.
