I've started hearing the "This Time It's Different" line lately from some on the various business oriented programs.
And in a lot of respects, it is different. We have unprecedented economic stimulus payments being sent to people, what are really kind of generous unemployment benefits, eviction moratoriums, etc. Without debating the rightness or wrongness of such programs one must wonder if people, instead of working or paying rent, aren't bidding asset prices into an unsustainable 'bubble'?
So while the "This Time It's Different" might apply to the cause of the bubble I'm worried that "The Result Remains the Same" might apply a little later on?
