Cat....you are absolutely right. The MTA and the subsequent sustained period of negotiation has been discussed ad infinitum. Wayne State University's investigation of 2-73 and its possible remyelination capabilities pointed to future success in MS. The Alzheimer's conflict between 2-73 and Biogen's Aducanumab/BAN2401 was the cause of the negotiation breakdown and it was Anavex who most likely left the table first.

That’s a lovely, comforting thought, but it’s pure speculation unsupported by any evidence. We do know Biogen did not proceed to the second step. What we don’t know is why. Missling could clear this up but of course he won’t. Missling has a history of burying inconvenient facts, most recently the primary endpoint data from the PDD study. Therefore, there is ample reason to be suspicious.
