My experience around small to growing company CEOs is that most of them are not polished writers and hardly any of them care

I have to agree with the other responses...it was an informal note to us, not a letter to SEC, or an official PR

I worked for a couple major Corporations, I sat right outside the President of our division's office @ one. He was a very, very smart, astute and in tune fella, but he had very good executive Secretary, who read over all of his letter's and made corrections to punctuation, grammar and such. She would even read over his emails sometimes depending who they were going to.
(yes she was well paid, and signed several NDA's)

But the point is, one's concern about grammar and such, depends on who they are addressing and the formality of it.
