Cabos:

Estimated time until listed on AMEX ( assuming it will occur which most of us do!) is in APPROX. 2 weeks. As far as the light bulb part of the mechanism is concerned, I DON'T KNOW!
AND, for which of their products? I am sure it differs also on whether we are talking about the infrared bulb or the regular camera-side bulb of the other Sevureview unit. I have always wondered about what I would feel like if I had my Secureview product installed and 2 days later, some neighborhood kid comes along with a BB gun and....Insurance claim? Deductable?

Don't get me wrong. I am definitely LONG and BULLISH on SEVU and their products, but these are day-to-day, real life questions for which I AM SURE there are simple answers that have been addressed a long time ago, well before I had even heard of the Company, for which I am sure one of our regular posters can fill you in. For the most part, they are a great bunch, unless a BASHER slips in to try to pop our balloon.
MAY THEY ROT.

Cabos, Welcome to SEVU and iHUB Board....

I suggest you spend a few minutes reviewing SEVU's Website to fully comprehend what it's all about...

http://www.sevu.com

Actually, there is NO regular lighting element inside "SecureView": it's a camera that can works in complete darkness, due to the emission of white infra-red light that cannot be seen with the naked eye... It you use it in the usual double socket floodlight, then one regular bulb provides the normal lighting, while the other is the camera itself...

If in your neighbourhood, you have kids allowed to carry BB guns that go around shooting light bulbs, then you really need a bunch of "Secureview" units... Just install armoured glass plate or hurricane proof plexiglass in front...

The life of the product is most likely designed to last 3 to 5 years, as with most portable electronics. Hey come to think of it, Secureveiw IS a in-house camcorder.

NICE TO SEE YOU ABOARD, CABO

Yes, SEVU is a fully reporting company. Their filings are available at http://www.freeedgar.com

There is no specific timeline for AMEX that is known to us. Here is what we do know:

1) SEVU is using Spear, Leeds, and Kellogg, a market listing firm, as its agent to secure an AMEX listing.

2) We know that SEVU's shareholder equity is slightly short of the amount that is in the automatic approval category (for this particular aspect)

3) We also know that 2 above does not kill the application. It merely adds several weeks to the process.

4) AMEX is dealing with a crush of applications. There are a lot of companies that want to get their stock away from MMs and "naked shorting" ASAP.

5) According to Rich, whom most of us believe, things are progressing smoothly.

6) ABOVE ALL, nearly six months into the process, SEVU has not been turned down!!!

About burnouts, as far as I know, there is no light in the "Secureview" housing as such and thus no burnout problem.
