I find it easy to use an external hard drive and just store and then transfer via the USB ports on both machines.

Anybody familiar with software programs that are used to move programs, data, and settings from one machine to another? I used Aloha Bob years ago, but I'm wondering if there is something better out there~

Several years ago I used PC Relocator. It worked well for me. You can move over one or all portions of your old hard drive.
