True. No way to mitigate bad faith at all. I won’t invest in companies that I personally have concluded are run by such people, even when it makes the stock do well. I sold a company, just not that long ago, at a big profit, for that very reason. The management were very optimistic. It made the stock do very well, but what they were doing and saying, in my opinion, was shady. I even don’t necessarily think badly entirely of the product. But there were substantial issues they need to solve, and my decreasing trust of the management team made me decide I’d rather take my 300%+ in profits and reallocate.
It was not a huge investment anyway. I always had some concerns about issues with the product and plan, in that case.
But yes, I believe LP and LL are both doing their best to bring a promising product to market, in this case.
