jasbg, If I had the connection to POTUS, I would want him to make Vascepa available to the VA as well as to the active duty military. If Vascepa is protective as well as therapeutic getting the military to accept it as such (or to do their own testing with FDA consultation) may be the most appealing choice for him to make. Keep in mind that Vascepa is a drug that should be given to anyone already taking a Statin med...
Just because it is now a CVD drug does not mean it can't be given to those at risk for COVID-19 who should be getting it for CVD. The KEY is for the VA and/or the military to make it available for free or at low cost ... with or without it being as part of a study to determine it effectiveness with the virus.

And my sense is that 'it just might be getting through' - as Vascepa is indeed exactly what is needed - besides vaccines - to end this bad situation longterm.
