I agree with you...properly identifying yourself is necessary as there are many who live to decieve and we all pay for their thefts...those mechanisms exists to identify ourselves at this time. my concern is more about the loss of freedoms that a chipped card might provide. the city i live in is being wired for free wireless internet but there is also a belief those little robots that are mounted on the telephone poles will have other monitoring capabilities,,,, to orewellian for me... there is a certain amount of anonymous behaviour i want to enjoy...id like to go to a restaraunt and not realize that im being tracked by my chipped card for every movement i make...

It's been proven to my satisfaction that they are irresponsible and making decisions that are not in my best interest.

I'd be foolish under the circumstances to agree to them having ANY more control or power or advantage over me. This IS an adversarial relationship that we now have.

After getting taken advantage of 100's of times, it's time to question everything twice before going along with anymore of their suggestions.

How many times would you let a neighbor or other acquaintance take advantage of you before you put a stop to it. Not very many if any at all.

Government is no better and there should be nothing wrong with applying the same rules to them. But we don't.

Anyway, I can't go along with any more controls until this all gets straightened out.... trusting them at this point is ... not prudent.
