At 500 duckies, homie overseeing purchases probably didn't notice or care. It's not interesting. Get outside folk and enjoy it without depicting it to the world on IG and tic toc. Chop some wood or something. Some, even in silicon valley, call it dopamine fasting. Yeah.

For a firm to buy a tiny lot could, IMO, only be to put it on their own internal radar. It’s something they have to look at/review/monitor/explain monthly/quarterly, whatever. It’s an ante into the hand as a way of not forgetting about it. The dollar value means nothing more than a place holder. Not an endorsement, but a reminder to keep on this. Again, only my opinion, but no other reason I can think of makes sense than to place a marker.
