Sorry, but I wouldn't characterize Gibson Dunn as "aggressive." I would say they have a very good reputation. Although they are generally thought of for their litigation practice, the attorney of record on NWBO's file (at least for securities purposes), Brian Lane, has a very solid background. He worked for the SEC for 16 years...he's not going to kill his reputation by being a party to any kind of unethical behavior with respect to his clients, especially a crap shoot like NWBO.
I don't know how many clients Gibson Dunn has that are in "penny land," but I would bet it's only a handful, if that.
