Thank you for the explanation on the patent expiration. I now recall reading that somewhere but it was soooo long ago!
I understand your point about the 6 patents but the legal team must have seen some value to getting the others restored, because it extended the time frame significantly.
Also, going after MSFT at this time seems like it could conflict to some degree with what is going on with the other lawsuits. Hopefully, that is not the case. The legal team and CEO seem competent and must have thought everything through before making the decision. As investors we are not privy to all of the facts or strategies. It will be interesting to see how it all moves forward.
From my perspective I would think WDDD would have wanted the shortest most direct route to a victory rather than adding complications with other suits that could ultimately impact the suit against ATVI or others. I guess we need to have faith in management and the legal team.
