Remember, uplifting or a new listing is not a discussion process!!! It's 100% about qualifying parameters and Northwest is not even close to meeting the listing standards. Plus, it doesn't matter if the company had a previous listing. To list is a "start from scratch" process !!! I've listed 2 public companies, one on the NYSE and one on the American, when it was separate. The NYSE listing was the most difficult in that it was the first pubilicflly traded MLP in the history of the NYSE. Strictly by the book, eventhough it was a very unusual listing. Dick Grasso was our account exec(Dick later became President of the NYSE) The only slack we got was when we were allowed to resubmit the listing package after being told that the NYSE would not or could not list an individual. Our General Partner was an individual and not a corporation so we were allowed to withdraw, form a corporation and resubmit.
Aside from all of that. Les G. wrote the book on corporate transactions and Les could recite listing requirements if he were under heavy anesthesia for major surgery!!!
