If you have been prescribed Vascepa for Reduce-It indications, and your insurance payor and pharmacy conspire to switch this to GenV --ask for a letter from your physician stating only that gen V has never been tested for Cv therapeutic benefit and send that with an attorneys letter to your pharmacy manager--I guarantee you will not be switched ever again. I have done something similar for pharmacy switching to Lovaza or generic omega 3 mixed ethyl esters.

Lawyers--could patients who are forced to switch by a pharmacy or insurance payor to genV for bonafide R-IT indications launch a class action lawsuit against CVS and their payors..?
