Well it does make sense, if you believe LL is still blinded by what she said yesterday. It makes sense that the processing of the data is taking longer than they hoped.

When was the deadline to submit material for SNO before or after DL? If it were after DL then it makes sense and they didnt expect it to take this long to get results. Even if they are already unblinded if that happened after deadline then theres not much they can do.
Also I dont believe that they have to pull out of a conference just bc trial failed. Ive seen many failed trials presented at major conferences bc the scientific community can still learn from them.

I do believe the stat experts have been working with hypothetical data in order to sort out any bugs in their software and that this has reduced the time it will take between data lock and top line.
