70% of GSK's lovaza capsule has DHA/EPA which consists of 55% of EPA and 45% of DHA.

60-80% of Hikma's vascepa capsule has EPA which may be >96% purified.

Sorry, I don't get your point. What you wrote is factual, but your point?

My point is that if gV is only 1 gram, then patients will be shorted out of 20-40% of EPA - a major health issue.

If that pill is around 1.4g (I don't think it is), then:

1) patients will consume almost 1.5 gram of crap besides EPA

2) who the heck is going to swallow a pill that is 40% larger than Vascepa

My question is where do you guys get the 20% allowance figure for excipients--please quote me the source for this assertion.
