Dr Bala. No offense but I don’t think you understand the difference between plenary and poster. I’d take plenary 1000x over a poster. Look at any accomplished physicians’ CV. Posters are at the bottom (of at all) and LBA/plenary are near the top.

Pre-Covid, posters are lost in a sea of posters. 25% are personally represented by the authors and the others are empty. People walking by may stop because they are interested or maybe because they
feel like the author is presenting their 5th science fair project.

Plenary sessions are always quick - yes, 10 minutes. But the entire world of Clinical Science starts here, followed by scientific symposia, publications, PRs, and a massive marketing machine. And yes, eventually a 40x60 trade show booth.

It looks like the company will present the data when the data is ready, and not wait a couple of more weeks for SNO. Also, a poster session allows more slides for the data rather than a 10 minute talk at the SNO.

... accompanied by a detailed PR.

Wait so Nov 9 will be a poster show and not a presentation by Dr. Liao? This just doesnt feel like we have great TLD. If end pt passed who wouldnt want to hVe the covetous opportunity to deliver it? Why just put them on poster boards.... unless

One other possible explanation for the SNO withdrawal is that the company wanted to announce TLD with specific details on multiple endpoints to enhance the impact of the announcement, and the company told SNO they wanted to do this. SNO per their embargo rules would have told them that this would violate the embargo, so the company withdrew the talk. Maybe SITC was more flexible? (I haven't checked their embargo rules).
