XM Satellite Radio (XMSR) said Friday that it added about 1.7 million new subscribers in 2006, ending the year with more than 7.63 million.
The company, much like rival Sirius Satellite Radio (SIRI), said it achieved positive cash flow from operations in the fourth quarter, when it added more than 442,000 new net subscribers.
