Yes, after being hospitalized chances are better than good he's actually infected. Too many people involved now to think otherwise. I'm not cynical by nature.
Having said that I do wish the man well as I expressed before. As another astute person on this thread quipped: If only to watch him lose the election and face the music once he's a private citizen again.
I'm unfortunately very familiar with the stages of this disease from my own family experiences. Trump is symptomatic which means the full force of Covid is yet to manifest. Add to that his apparent heart issues and weight issues along with what I feel is diabetic nerve death in his feet which would account for his literal missteps taken down that podium ramp that we all witnessed. I'd say he's very much not out of the woods. My family member had no underlying issues is very fit and is 20 years younger than Trump. He was diagnosed in March and wasn't out until well after April having been in a coma and on a ventilator. He's a doctor and steadfastly wore a mask and washed his hands conscientiously; his "journey" was actually covered by several news outlets in the US where he practices.
I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the gatherings I see in the US without masks and social distancing and not just at Trump rallies. I can tell you that here in Canada you just don't see that. EVERYONE here wears a mask, even toddlers with their mothers while grocery shopping, nobody is immune or gets a pass. The cult of Trump has had their collective wake up call. I hope that Trump is man enough to swallow his pride and use his power to make it very clear that he was wrong and to mandate mask wearing in public.
