I think the first step is to ask your broker for an explanation as to why they removed the CVRs when Equiniti still acts as the agent for them. I think the broker can confirm with Equiniti. Hopefully, your broker can then restore them for a contingent payout in the future.
The broker may not be happy holding the CVRs as non-tradeable securities but I believe the broker that benefited from the trading of TLON shares prior to the buyout of Talon by Spectrum should continue to hold the CVRs.
