Wouldn’t surprise me if the MMs threw on an informal circuit breaker via other means just to slow this down. Given the volume the last few days and the quick action in the morning, they may have needed a few minutes to adjust their positions before this got out of control.
When I first noticed, I was looking at my account balance and thought somebody hacked in and stole my shares. That would have been a bummer.
Was good to see a solid close. Despite the BS that has totally wrecked the stats, the trading turned tepid again after the morning just like yesterday. I was worried the big splooge was going to repeat EOD.
