Very true statement. IF, IF, IF Apple was to use LQMT even if it was for a run of 500 limited phones I feel that hype would run us more initially than say 100,000 surgical scissors a month. In the long run the scissors bring in the moola for the company but scissors are boring compared to a CE product. Right now with crazy markets all people need to see is 500 phones made with LQMT and it would be off to the races.

Huawei has spent over four years of R&D on the hinges with Liquidmetal and has just come to a place of perfecting them for commercialization.

This hasn’t been a quick fix to move their foldable phones to a new level, and I don’t see the use of these Liquidmetal hinges a one year use.

Recurring would certainly fit such a product, and this ain’t no Samsung hinge here today gone tomorrow.
