Could $AVXL suddenly appreciate by 200% on this news????
I don't see any reason that it should. As soon as Anavex was given SAS approval it was obvious that some distribution system had to be set up to handle 2-73.
This is a solution to the logistical issue. This was completely expected otherwise there would not be a way to supply 2-73 to the OLE patients.
I liken this to buying a new car and then getting it registered and license plates. Getting the plates is expected and routine. The excitement is getting the new car, in Anavex's case getting SAS approval. Getting the distribution is expected.
Thank you for this TTT. Quote: HL Pharma is pleased to announce we are working with Anavex Life Sciences Corporation to facilitate the ongoing supply of medication to patients post clinical trial completions for Rett Syndrome and the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease.
The bit highlighted above is what the SAS Cat B approval is clearly aimed at.

I get that we all recognize this as great news for the patients, families and AVXL but why is it cloaked?
It would seem to me that this is clear evidence that some level of efficacy is at hand. Would be nice to see an appropriate PR. (or would that be against some obscure rule?)
Anyways, good for the kids, their families all medical staffs/contributors and AVXL shareholders. Maybe our long struggles are paying off.
