We do it up big here too. It is a special occasion and the world needs more like it .. Christians or not. My young grandson goes to Afghanistan in the New Year and I pray for his safekeeping. Don't ask why we send soldiers there. Nobody has beaten the Taliban yet. Just like Viet Nam.
