That last paragraph:

As of December 31, 2017, the receivership’s total assets increased from the prior quarter ending September 30, 2017 by approximately $19 million. This amount includes an upward adjustment of $15.5 million attributable to investment interest earned by the receiver on its cash held in the National Liquidation Fund (NLF). This adjustment was made to reflect WAMU’s reallocated pro rata share of the total investment earnings of the NLF as calculated on a daily basis from the receivership’s inception.”

What amount of cash would earn interest of $15.5 million in 3 months with the interest rate in July, August, and September in 2017?

Thank you IMO!

Well based on the writing of this letter, one cannot say with certainty that HM is wrong. We hope he is somehow, but attacks on his viewpoint are now clearly without sufficient foundation.

thank you so much for your effort "itsMyOption"!!

It is outrageous that such an authority in the service of its citizens for such an effort gives a meaningless answer. For this they have postponed the answer again and again???

Thanks very much ItsMyOption, for all your efforts and letting us know of he FDIC response. Guess, we'll have to read the tea Leaves based on whether they will extend the WMILT closure date before Oct 1st.

Thank you ItsMyOption, I know it was not what was expect with the length of time it took to get this response. I know you raised this question with them before but, “why, is the receivership open if there is no money left. FDIC does not plan is on distributing any of the libor settlement.” Once the receivership is closed maybe nothing happens, than again we do not know. Again, great effort on trying to get something of value from the fdic.

Itsmyoption:The FDIC was one of the three settling participants in the GSA. It is normal for the settling participants to sign NDAs. Therefore, I don't believe we will ever learn all of the details of the WAMU Receivership.

Thank you for your efforts, we all appreciate it.

"and the corruption of the big banks on Wall Street that FDIC seems to be in a circle of collusion of Fraud with them."

That had to sting a bit... :)

ItsMY Option, It appears to me that Roberta, the person you had been corresponding with was in way over her head and another employee steps in to give you the run around for the answers you requested with the typical Bullshit the FDIC has dished out for the past several years. Unless your Senator is willing to write a request on your behalf you will never learn anything.
I don't believe a House representative would get jack from them.

You may recall certain Shills on the PB Board have written the FDIC and never asked anything of importance and always gave the FDIC an opportunity to answer back with a nothing burger. It's a shame that my Senator Coburn passed a way, I believe he would have helped us out after all this time has passed, Bbanbob had a good relationship with him.

Perhaps a letter/petition signed by a hundred or so true longs and sent registered mail by A Senator to Jelena McWilliams will get a valid response after all we have the Chairmans word she will be transparent, it's time she is personally called out.

I forget who suggested we Escrow shares holders move to the WAMPQ Preferred Board and stop the bull shit banter on this board with Paid posters who hold no Escrow shares. I will join in for sure in suggesting questions and demands for immediate transparency and answers.

Thank you Its, I don't believe any of us really believed the corrupt jackasses at the FDIC would come clean, but I know many here truly appreciate you keeping heat on them.

Well done, they at least know we're watching. I'm also sure they don't care, but that's another story.
