Why in a 401k? why not a trust to the grand kids especially if she is not getting matched
Probably because some secretary typing away on a type writer (remember those) 40 yrs ago, envisioned she would live off of her modest stock investments someday. As in couldn't afford to set it up for grand kids in a trust fund.
